How it all began...
Headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico, Canfer Grupo Empresarial (Canfer
Group) began operations in 1979 with the start up of its first company.
In the following years, new business opportunities have been targeted and
new ventures launched, leading the Group to a pathway of continuous
growth. Today, Canfer Group is composed of five companies and has a solid
financial and operational platform.

Began operations as a distributor of gaskets for the appliance industry and vulcanized rubber for the flexographic printing industry.

1980
|
Newland de Mexico was created to serve as fabricator – distributor and exclusive depository to DuPont’s electrical insulating films and papers in Mexico.

1983
|
Proveedora Flexografica is born to serve the graphic arts industry with the distributorship of vulcanized rubber and other products for the packaging printing market.

1991
|
PAE is born to serve the OEMs in Mexico with the supply of insulation materials for the electrical, electronic, appliance, automotive and industrial markets.

|
1996
|
Proveedora Flexografica becomes distributor of DuPont Imaging Technologies.
|
|
2002
|
Acquisition of WHIS – Wire Harnesses Integrating Solutions.

2006
|
Began operations offering specialized maquila services with our first assembly project assembling control panels for the German firm Siemens.

2008
|
Excelcuts is born as a result of a joint venture with the US Company Budnick Converting to offer converting services of flexible materials to Mexico’s manufacturing industry.'

2009
|
Newland de Mexico begins new project with the Canadian firm, Husky, assembling control panels for their injection molding equipments.
